A child should never be limited by poor vision

we care about protecting your vision

As optometrists, we also care about people around the world who lack access to quality vision care. Because of this, Spadina Optometry is participating in the World Sight Day Challenge during October.

Now in its 14th year, the World Sight Day Challenge is the largest annual global fundraising campaign to address avoidable blindness caused by uncorrected refractive error –simply the need for an eye exam and glasses. The campaign is run by global charity, Optometry Giving Sight.

There are more than 1.2 billion people in the world who are blind or vision impaired because they do not have access to an eye exam or glasses.

Preventable blindness is a solvable problem and we are proud to help give better vision to those in need. Most people are inspired to learn that as little as $5 can help give an eye exam and a pair of glasses to someone living in an under-served community to transform their lives. Everyone can make a huge difference and we are thrilled to be contributing to Optometry Giving Sight.

On October 8, Spadina Optometry will fundraising and matching donations from our patients. We’d love our patients to get their eyes tested during the Challenge to help raise awareness and funds for this great cause. We invite you to join us in making a donation at https://www.canadahelps.org/s/fqNWh
