Dr. Katie Mann, O.D.

Dr. Katie Mann joined Spadina Optometry in December 2011. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Life Science from Queen’s University she decided to follow in the family eye care footsteps, completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo in 2009.

She completed two primary care internships in private practices during her final year of studies, one in Vancouver and one in Dundas, ON. Her final rotation before graduation was at the Eye Foundation of Utah, found in Salt Lake City. Here she gained experience in glaucoma management, cataract co-management, and primary eye care, all under the guidance of some of the area’s most well-respected optometrists and ophthalmologists.

After graduation Dr. Mann focused on family practice including pediatrics, refractive surgery and ocular disease. Practicing in a few locations in the GTA and Dundas, where she continues to practice at Dundas Optometry (dundasoptometry.ca) with Drs. Johnson, Burns, Thomas and Sanderson.
