New office update - March 1, 2020 👷‍♀️👷👷‍♂️ Hard hats still required. Socially distanced construction and project coordination to ensure the appropriate, limited number of contractors in the space has been fun. But we're progressing. The views of downtown Toronto are gorgeous. We have in-person and virtual appointments for comprehensive eye examinations and to shop for new frames and sunglasses. COVID-19: Spadina Optometry is open.

We made changes to our procedures and protocols to comply with directives and guidelines from the province and the College of Optometrists of Ontario. Our doctors and staff are available for tele-medicine consultations and direct shipment contact lens orders.

We have limited the number of available appointments and we are prioritizing patients based on needs. We are following strict infection control practices, and social distancing for the safety of our staff, doctors and patients.

  • As of June 7, 2020 we are gradually opening to provide care. Our appointments for all services are based on urgency, please contact us at 416-703-2797 or by SMS:416-703-2797 for our next availability.

  • All patients are required to complete a COVID-19 Wellness Form at booking and the day of their appointment.

  • Only patients with a confirmed appointment are allowed in the office

  • Face masks and coverings are required

  • We are continuing to adapt and adjust our protocols and procedures to keep our patients, staff and doctors safe. This includes handwashing, social distancing, personal protective equipment and facemasks, amongst other changes.
