Holiday hours
We close for most statutory holidays, and around some of them we close early or for extra days.
These dates change every year, so rather than list them here where they would quickly go out of date, the current holiday schedule is posted at the bottom of every page on this site. If you are planning a visit near a long weekend, it is worth a look first.
Being open is not the same as having an appointment free
This is the thing worth understanding if you are trying to find a time.
Our opening hours describe when the office is staffed. They do not tell you whether an examination slot is actually available — we can be open at 10:00am on a Tuesday with every exam already booked.
Booking online shows live availability, so you see the times that are genuinely free rather than guessing from our hours. If nothing online works for you, call or message the office — staff can see the whole schedule, including slots that open up from a cancellation.
Stopping by without an appointment
During opening hours you are welcome to come by without booking to browse frames, pick up an order, or have glasses adjusted or repaired.
